I offer therapy services to adults who are struggling with a variety of issues, including relationship stress, self-esteem, anxiety, and difficulties adjusting to major life transitions.

Together, we will work to help you find and trust your own voice, to feel empowered to make necessary and meaningful changes that can get you “unstuck”, and to set healthy boundaries.  We will address stumbling blocks that impact your relationships and restrict your own personal growth.  You’ll gain insight into your behaviors, which will help you to recognize patterns that you can learn to improve upon.  As you develop new tools and strategies to make changes, you will begin to see improvement in your daily life and a reduction in your symptoms of anxiety and depression. Having insight can make a huge difference, and is the first step toward achieving long-lasting change.

In therapy, we will look at the role that your family history and early experiences play in contributing to feelings of anxiety, and learn how to enhance your relationships.  I will help empower you to manage your expectations about others and yourself, working towards acceptance and tolerance regarding what you can’t change.  As you learn to cope more effectively with your stressors and better manage your emotions, you’ll feel greater satisfaction and increased self-confidence.
